The group’s biggest influences are apparently Black Sabbath, Pentagram, Saint Vitus, Revelation, Witchfinder General perhaps Trouble too, but their sound is closer to early Cathedral. The band has faithfully kept their own style and hasn’t compromised one bit of their principles. The trio play simple, but devilishly well working music with great piety. Crush the Insects is a successful whole that should find its place in every doom fan’s collection."
