Remixed by Sanford Parker. Remastered, and repackaged to include all new art, photography and liner notes from the band. 'Hell Is A Door To The Sun' contains Rwake's most accomplished material to date. Combining sludge, doom and experimental metal with explosive results. Rwake If You Walk Before You Crawl You Crawl Before You Die (CD)
Label: At A Loss Origin: USA
An interesting dose of filthy, dirty sludge that should appeal to fans of Eyehategod and Grief. Between the array of slow pounding drums and noisy riffs, Rwake implements experimental sounds that shows some echoes of early Neurosis. The onslaught of noisy sludge is from time to time balanced with calmer, acoustic sections, proving that Rwake is definitely not a one-dimensional outfit.

Rwake Rest (CD)
Label: Relapse Origin: USA
The four year wait since Voices of Omens is finally over. And the end result couldn't possibly be anymore perfect. To me, Rwake has been the most consistent and under appreciated bands to hold the stoner/sludge title. Everything that they've released has given me a genuine sense of excitement. They haven't put out a sub par release to date but with Rest, they've managed to completely blow their back catalog out the water. Atmospheric sludge is a tricky genre to pers...

Rwake Voices of Omens (CD)
Label: Relapse Origin: USA
The band is more content to lock into a metal groove, yet that simplicity doesn't diminish the overall effect. They haven't abandoned their bad acid trip riffs though. Voices of Omens is still distinctly Rwake – screeching, otherworldly vocals (unless you knew of the band, you'd be surprised to know that its the work of both a male and a female), guitar parts that balance beauty and ugliness, and progressive rhythms. Naturally, their fans will devour this one...
