"May 14th is the release date of Volume 1 of the official motion picture soundtrack to indie-splatter flick "I AM VENGEANCE". MeteorCity's soundtrack volume features 14 songs from numerous important and rising bands from the burgeoning stoner/doom rock scene, plus dialogue clips from the film and score pieces; the liner notes contain lyrics, film stills, and commentary by the film's director/creator Richard R. Anasky. In the tradition of such respected music-film mergings as Pulp Fiction and Beyond The Valley of The Dolls, the plot and themes of the film revolve heavily around the songs, both lyrically and in tempo and mood. The film itself is due for video release towards the end of the summer, with Volume 2 of the official soundtrack also due this year from Game Two Records."
"All songs are exclusive to this release minus these minor exceptions:- Blood Farmers: Bullet In My Head (originally appeared on their debut album from Hellhound, although it is long out of print)
- sHEAVY: Sea of Tomorrow (originally appeared on their self-released debut "Blue Sky Mind", which is also long out of print)
