Eyehategod Confederacy of Ruined Lives (CD)
Label: Century Media Origin: USA
Well what can I say? Eyehategod are pretty much the masters of that hard-core-sludge cross over stuff. Hands down I would say, and 'Confederacy of Ruined Lives' pretty much displays nothing short of that I assure you... This album is cover to cover Doom/Blues/Hardcore to the maximum. The songs are mathy, aggressive and down right have the vibe of going next door and cutting your neighbor’s head off. That intense.

Eyehategod Dopesick (Vinyl 2LP)
Label: Emetic Origin: USA
All tracks remastered with revised layout and artwork. Includes 3 bonus tracks and liner notes by Michael Williams. Deluxe gatefold sleeve! Everytime I listen to Dopesick it never fails to impress me. This was the first CD I purchased by Eyehategod and it most definitely wasn't my last. Eyehategod In the Name of Suffering (Re-issue) (CD)
Label: Century Media Origin: USA
All tracks remastered with revised layout and artwork. Includes 4 bonus tracks from a 1990 demo. Liner notes by Michael Williams. Eyehategod material prior to the arrival of vocalist/violator Michael Williams is scarce. The band was a significantly different beast. A bunch of Southern burnouts with an offensive name bent on playing painfully slow. Securing the band's embryonic "Garden Dwarf Woman Driver" is like procuring the Holy Grail. A stubborn allegiance to the ...

Eyehategod Live (DVD)
Label: MVD Origin: USA
Two brutal live shows from these long running and still standing swamp metal road dogs. Recorded in 2009 (Baltimore, MD) and 2010 (Cleveland, OH), two almost completely different set lists combine for some heavy duty rock and roll, no doubt. The perfect mix of Black Flag and Black Sabbath in ragged, live glory. 25 plus years of blues based ugly rock boiled down into one DVD.

[Southern Discomfort] reveals an even more visceral rawness....few have been able to match their gritty amalgam of sludge, indecipherably confrontational vocals, demented intelligence and Southern blues metal.

Eyehategod Take as Needed for Pain (Vinyl 2LP)
Label: Emetic Origin: USA
All tracks remastered with revised layout and artwork. Includes 6 bonus tracks and liner notes by Michael Williams. Deluxe gatefold sleeve! While the impetus behind my inclination towards bands like Eyehategod and their ilk is better left to the ruminating psychologist, it's evident to even those safely distanced, Take as Needed for Pain bleeds with a purifying sort of torment. There just has not been a band who have mainlined (pun intended) the heart of the matt...
