Los Natas Ciudad de Brahman (Vinyl LP) (Import)
Label: Elektrohasch Origin: Germany
Limited edition of only 750 hand numbered copies on black vinyl. Perhaps the greatest gift that Natas possesses is their ability to be laid back and mellow. There are so many heavy, powerful bands around that hearing a band that has the grace and finesse of Natas is a welcome relief. Beautifully intricate guitar parts swirl, entwine, tantalize and then finally give way to seriously heavy riffage.

Los Natas El Hombre Montana (CD)
Label: Small Stone Origin: USA
Everything I've ever loved about Natas in the past is still present in these new songs - and then some. There are a few punk elements, mostly in the tempo of some of the songs. The long, winding, mellow-to-heavy jams are here, as are the melancholy vocal melodies. If you were a fan before, there's nothing in this album that should turn you off. Los Natas just keep getting better with every release.

Los Natas Nuevo Orden dela Libertad (CD)
Label: Small Stone Origin: USA
Their creativity is unbridled on this newest album, but it’s also tempered with a maturity presenting itself in tighter songcraft. El Nuevo Orden de la Libertad puts you exactly where it wants you for every minute of its run time. It boasts the most together-sounding performances the band has ever put to tape and is easily the best record I’ve heard so far this year.

Los Natas Toba Trance II (CD) (Import)
Label: Ektro Origin: Finland
It's almost impossible to pin the sounds down there are so many intricately interwoven parts. All sorts of instruments, percussion, effects and some magnificent vocals. Always with a Latin/South American feel. Never a dull moment and always the unexpected. This is a stupendous follow up to Toba Trance and a must buy. This is a perfect progression from the first one. I do not know of any other group of musicians with this much talent. Flawless.
