"If First Daze Here, the 2002 compilation of rare and unreleased Pentagram songs, did one thing, it was to underscore how important the band was to legions of doom bands. Although the classic line up never achieved much commercial success during it’s five year run, they left behind a rich legacy, one that’s been a huge influence on new groups (case in point – Witchcraft). First Daze Here Too builds upon the foundation of First Daze Here, unearthing two albums of vintage Pentagram. Album One has seven studio recordings, including an alternate version of “When the Screams Come,” which is noteworthy as the song was done 100% live."
"Album Two is lengthier and rougher around the edges. The fifteen tracks were recorded at their rehearsals and the sound varies. In each instance, it’s clear that Pentagram was not a band to take lightly. Do a comparison of the version of “Be Forewarned” on First Daze Here and the one presented here. The difference is that the latter lacks studio finesse, but it makes up for it with tight, forceful playing. These songs may have just been rehearsal recordings, but the band sounds like they’re performing for a packed audience."
