"This is very good. At first, I thought the noise aspect of it overshadowed everything else. Not in an overtly harsh way like Merzbow's work on Flight of the Behemoth, but just in so far as I thought it was taking away from all the Boris could have been as if the band was being upstaged. Now, after a few listens, it's almost as if the reverse is true. The heavy, "organic" drone elements are now driving the main part of the work, and the noise elements are more like accents or flourishes. It takes some getting used to, but once it clicks, it's a unique and rewarding ride."
"This may be one of the more approachable 'drone/noise' albums you may find."
