"I've been a huge fan of these guys for years now. I've listened to their two (very high quality) demos hundreds of times each and I've been waiting ever so patiently for them to finally release something official so we could start getting their music out to the world. And here it is, their debut self titled CD! In my opinion these guys are a perfectly balanced hybrid of Stoner Rock and Doom and there's enough grunge and psychedelic undertones in there to please everyone who's a fan of all brands of heavy rock. Highly recommened to everyone! Check out the MP3 and try not to love it! Highly recommended!"
"Like a time capsule caught somewhere in the 70's, the GPEBB have been churning out classic rock sounding metal that is hard not to compare with the likes of Sabbath and Pentagram, but man- the tones, the riffs, everything about it reeks of classic 70's rock.
There has always been something magical that I have liked about these guys though...maybe it's the fact that they kind of isolate themselves away from the rest of the world, I don't know...the writing is top notch and I never get sick of hearing these songs. If you are into Pentagram, Sabbath...early 70's and late 60's classic blues/doom rock, check out The Golden Pig Electric Blues Band, they won't disapoint. Great stuff and I just plain never get sick of the soul that these guys just repeatedly churn out year after year...rock!"
